07:00 PM - 08:00 PM

VIRTUAL

In collaboration with GBH and The Library of Congress, PBS Books is honored to host this virtual engagement event with author Shelby Van Pelt.

Shelby Van Pelt joins us in conversation for her luminous debut novel Remarkably Bright Creatures. You will laugh, cry and fall in love with a woman’s surprising relationship with a most curious creature after picking up Van Pelt’s New York Times Bestseller. Charming, compulsively readable and full of wit, Shelby Van Pelt’s debut novel is a beautiful exploration of friendship, reckoning and hope. Her story serves as a reminder that sometimes taking a hard look at the past can help uncover a future that once felt impossible.

In collaboration with GBH and The Library of Congress, PBS Books is honored to host this virtual engagement event with author Shelby Van Pelt, in celebration of the Library of Congress National Book Festival that will occur on August 12.
